Day 1 – Sunday

  • Sleep In 😴 Take it easy, you’re on vacation!
  • Stroll through Pleaux 🏘️ A gentle walk through the village to discover local shops and artisans. You can find all the details in the “The Village” section of our app.

🏞️ Afternoon

Visit the surrounding hamlets of Pleaux 🗺️

  1. Loupiac: Branzac Castle
  2. Saint-Christophe-des-Georges: Notre-Dame du Château Chapel
  • Branzac Castle 🏰 A ruined castle (private estate) that is stunning to admire from a distance.
  • Notre-Dame du Château Chapel ⛪ Enjoy this as part of a short hike—the perfect warm-up for the week. After crossing the railway line, follow the path toward the chapel. It is a magnificent spot overlooking the valley.

🌅 Evening

Longayroux Nautical Base 🏖️ End the day at the lakeside: swimming and relaxing at sunset.

D2 – Monday

☀️ Morning

  • Château de Rilhac Xaintrie 🏰 A site steeped in history nestled in the heart of the Corrèze region.
  • Stop for supplies at Fromagerie Duroux (Cheese shop).
  • Rochers Noirs Viaduct 🌉 A beautifully restored, secluded viaduct in the middle of the valley.

🍽️ Lunch

  • Stop at the Domaine du Lac de Sursac 🧺
  • 📌 Reservation recommended.

🏞️ Afternoon

Chastang Dam: Tour at 2:30 PM 💧 Go behind the scenes of this impressive structure with a guided tour inside the dam.

Gardens of Soythis 🌿 A magnificent botanical trail to round off the afternoon.

D3 – Tuesday

☀️ Morning

  • Salins Waterfall 💦 A unique trail where you can hike directly behind the falling water!
  • Apcher Mineral Spring ⛲ Where naturally sparkling mineral water flows from the earth.

🏞️ Afternoon

Glass Bead Workshop 💍 With Agathe from “La Mygale en Tutu”. Learn the art of glass bead-making and leave with your own unique creation!

Mauriac: Tour at 2:00 PM 🕍 Discover the hidden treasures of the historic center, the monastery, and the Notre-Dame-des-Miracles basilica.

D4 – Wednesday

☀️ Morning

  • Tournemire 🏰 Ranked among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France,” this quintessential village is dominated by Anjony Castle. Enjoy a walk through the heart of the valley.

🍽️ Lunch

  • Break in Aurillac 🍽️ The capital of Cantal. Grab a seat on a terrace in the City Hall square (Place de la Mairie) or explore the old town center.

🏞️ Afternoon

  • Marcolès 🏘️ Recently labeled one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France,” this medieval village has preserved its authentic soul.
  • Maurs, City of Character 🌿 If you still have some energy, head to Maurs, a charming small town with distinct Occitan flair.

  • Visit Salers 🏘️ Tour at 10:30 AM. Discover one of the most iconic “Most Beautiful Villages of France.”
  • ⛰️ Next stop: Puy Mary. Accessible by bus (in summer) or by car.

🍽️ Lunch

  • Lunch at “Les Burons de Salers” 🐄 Enjoy a Truffade (traditional potato and cheese dish)—a timeless moment in a typical local setting.

🏞️ Afternoon

  • Fontanges Church ⛪ Visit the nearby La Roche church for a cultural heritage break.
  • Maison de Salers 🧀 A detour to learn about the heritage, history, and culture of this emblematic village.
  • “Al Pais” Farm 🐖 A quick stop to taste local charcuterie.

🌄 Evening

Summit of Puy Violent 🏞️ End the day with a truly memorable sunset.

D6 – Friday

☀️ Morning

  • The Medieval Farm (Saint-Privat) 🐄🏚️ Step back in time and discover medieval rural life in this reconstructed farm. An immersive experience for all ages.
  • Argentat-sur-Dordogne 🏢 A charming village in the Dordogne Valley (Corrèze). This former port was the departure point for the traditional gabare boats.

🌿 Afternoon

Laroquebrou 🏘️ End your day in this “Small City of Character,” nestled in a valley with a distinct Dordogne riverside spirit.

Tours de Merle 🏰 The history of the Merle Towers is a historical anomaly… fortified castles built in a completely isolated location.

Palais breton

Traditional game similar to petanque (possibility of playing from 1 against 1 to 6 against 6)

Metal pucks replace petanque balls

Table tennis tournament

Playful tournament by hen (2 tables) of 3 or 4 players meeting in turn to establish a classification and to establish the final phase table. All matches take place in 1 winning set to avoid too long a wait to play again.

Mölkky

Scandinavian game likened to miniature bowling from 1v1 to 6v6

The principle of the game is to knock down wooden skittles using a launcher called Mölkky. Pins are scored from 1 to 12. The first team to score exactly 50 points wins the game. At the start of a game, the skittles are placed 3.50m (+ or – 10cm) from the players.

Orienteering race

Race against the clock which takes place within the enclosure of the campsite on a course materialized by beacons equipped with pliers allowing to punch the orientation card given at the start of the event.

Tchoukball

Collective game assimilated to Handball without a goalkeeper replaced by a trampoline

Goal of the game :

Bounce the ball off either frame so that it lands on the court, out of reach of the opposing team’s players.

Field :

Tchoukball is played on a 12 by 25 meter field or on the handball field. Goals are frames located at each end of the pitch. They are surrounded by a prohibited area in the shape of a semi-circle (from 1.5 to 3 meters in radius depending on the terrain used). They allow the ball to be returned.

Football match open to all (7 to 77 years old)

Meeting on half or all terrain depending on the number of campers/Pleaudiens

Festive evening: aperitif / meal / dancing

Open to all residents of the campsite in the presence of elected officials

From 7:00 p.m. start of the aperitif followed by a convivial meal and a musical evening

Visits to the farm and the honey house

  • Visit to the farm organized from the campsite in different farms or production (race salers, Cantal production …)
  • Visit to the honey house with explanation of the birth of the bee to the final product without forgetting the free tasting

Adult entertainment

Muscle building classes

One-hour session aimed at strengthening the abdominal and back muscles as well as the upper and lower limbs (abs, back muscles, sheathing, etc.) come and sculpt the body of a goddess and a muscle gentleman

Hikes

Walk accessible to all, along shaded paths (distance of 6 to 9 km over the half day, 8 to 14 km over the day)

Petanque competition (classic and square balls)

Competition in doublet and/or triplet at the scrum and/or formed during the day and/or in the evening
